Scenic Corporation of New York was founded in the year 2000 by Randolph Alexander as a CNC routing and sign shop which quickly expanded into a full service scenic construction company. We have recently expanded our 20,000 square foot Brooklyn Navy Yard facility to include a new 6,000 square foot set up area.
Scenicorp is proficient in all areas of scenery and display construction. In house capabilities include:
- Traditional carpentry as well as plastics fabrication and finishing.
- Steel and aluminum welding and bending
Scenic Art including Carving, Casting, and Painting. Color matching for logos as well as texturing, Trompe L'oeil, and Furniture grade finishing.
CNC Routing:
Everything from Dimensional Letter, Shapes and logos to 3D carving, complex structual frames and intricate engraving in woods, plastics and all Non-Ferrous Metals.
- Graphics department with large format digital printers and cut vinyl graphics. Printable media includes vinyl, paper, canvas, poplin and other fabrics, as well as, non-slip floor graphic material.
- Rental stock of flats, platforms, pedestals and podiums.
- Heated scenery storage facility with 24 hour access and security.
Our goal is to service our customer from design to reality providing full construction facilities, trucking, crews for setup, installation and strikes, disposal and storage.
